Loft project begins at AM&A's warehouse - Business First of Buffalo:

Developer Rocco Termini has crews working on interiotrdemolition efforts, as well as asbestos in the former Adam Meldrum Anderson Co. Inc. warehouse on Washingtoj Street. The century-old building is being renovated intoa mixed-use anchored by 48 market-rate apartments. P&B Acquisitions, a local debt collections is leasingall 15,000 square feet of the building’s offic space. With the move, P&B hopes to add 50 employee s toits 120-person workforce. Terminik has been securing financing and approvala forthe $11 million projec for nearly two years. That includes incentives offered by the througn itsadaptive re-use program and New York Statse Historic Tax Credits.
Dubbed the AM&A’w Lofts after the building’s formefr tenant, the eight-story structure has been vacant for nearlh15 years. It was closed when the , whicj acquired the AM&A’s chaimn in 1993, closed the flagship Buffalo department storre andthe warehouse. The store and warehouse are connecter via a tunnel that cuts underneathWashingtonh Street. AM&A’s Lofts will have 36 one-bedroom units and a dozejn two-bedroom units.
