Chatham creates School of Sustainability and the Environment - San Francisco Business Times:

The school is expected to provide graduate and professional programs to prepare students to identify and solve challenges relatec to the environmentand sustainability. The Universityg will begin a search fora dean, and will housed the new school's operations at its Eden Hall Farm Campusz in Richland, north of Pittsburgh. The administration anticipates that the programs offered througgh the School will both attrac t new students and drive the Eden HallFarm Campus’ master The first program offered through the new school will be Chatham'z newest graduate program, the Master of Arts in Food The degree is designed to providew students with "a deep understanding of the issues surrounding food such as the environmentakl costs of food production and distribution, cultura issues, sustainability of communities, and safety of the food according to a releasd from the school.
Classes will begin in spring 2010 at the Eden Hall Farm campuds and the Shadyside campusin Pittsburgh's East End, and will includew courses such as agriculturak production systems, food processing, industrialization and food, sustainability and health, and food and culture.
